Saving lives through community action and AED accessibility. Every second counts in cardiac emergencies - we're working to ensure help is always within reach.
AEDs for All was created in honor of Cam Ward, a beloved basketball player at Rossview High School, whose passing shook our community. Cam tragically passed away at a pick-up basketball game where no AED was available.
His story showed us how critical it is to have defibrillators readily available in public spaces. No family or team in our community should ever have to experience the loss of a life when that life might have been saved.
We are working to place AEDs throughout the community through fundraising, advocacy, and awareness, turning tragedy into action so that no one has to lose their loved one when even seconds matter.
Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the leading causes of death outside hospitals, with over 356,000 cases occurring annually in the U.S. alone. Survival depends on immediate action, yet every minute without CPR and defibrillation reduces a person's chance of survival by 7–10%.
Despite this, AEDs are used by bystanders only about 4% of the time - mainly due to limited access and lack of public training. AEDs for All exists to close this deadly gap.
AEDs can increase survival up to 6 times before help arrives
Automated External Defibrillators are portable devices that can restart the heart during sudden cardiac arrest. They're designed for use by anyone - with clear voice and visual prompts to guide you through the process.
Our mobile app provides real-time guidance for CPR and AED use during emergencies, helping anyone become a life-saver.
Your help directly enables our AED placement, community training, and our life-saving mobile app. Every donation/volunteer brings us closer to a community where cardiac emergencies don't become tragedies.
Join our mission to make AEDs accessible throughout our community. Whether you want to donate, volunteer, or learn more about our work, we'd love to hear from you.
